Hi, I’m Amy.

I began dancing at five years old, training in ballet, jazz, tap, gymnastics, and more. Later in life, I fell in love with ballroom and competitive ballroom dance. From a young age, I dreamed of owning my own dance studio and sharing the joy of dance—especially with women later in life.

Why I Created DreamBird Dance

As I got older, I experienced firsthand how dance helped me survive through some very difficult chapters of my life, and I knew it could offer that same strength, joy, and connection to other women. Founded in 2022, DreamBird has grown into a kind, supportive, no-drama community built on dancing, fun, and friendship.

The DreamBird Name

The name DreamBird is deeply personal. It honors my mom and sister, whom I lost to cancer just a few years apart. They both loved hummingbirds and fairies, and I continue to feel their guidance in everything I do. DreamBird is a reminder to keep dreaming, keep moving, and keep flying—no matter what life brings.
